We’ve been getting very excited about our menu for the “Celebration of Food” event in October, looking at as many local & seasonal ingredients as possible.
September/October is such a great month for produce: gorgeous Greens, super Squashes and beautiful Berries (my favourite are Elderberries, they make a delicious jelly which is a fabulous with roast Lamb). We also have delicious local, organic Swainswick Beef and Mark will be fishing for fresh Mackerel.
Watch this space for details of our ticket only 5 course dinner on October 16th celebrating the finest local & seasonal ingredients. A Bath wine merchant will be matching wines to each course and we’ll be providing tasting notes and seasonal recipe cards.
We’ll also be running a ‘2 courses for £10’ set lunch menu based on local & seasonal produce throughout October.
